On the sill, november 2008

I spend an awful lot of time looking at the windowsill above the kitchen sink.  Having a collection of some of my favorite things there makes the time spent making snacks, cleaning up snacks, loading the dishwasher, unloading the dishwasher, ad infinitum, just that much more tolerable.  I don't purposefully stage stuff here, it just seems to collect and change over time.  Right now, the center of the sill is occupied by a white, silver, and red-toned palette that includes rocks we've collected, a silver service bell, tiny salt cellar spoons, and the last two flowers alive in the house.

    My...what a big sill you have : )

Beautiful. My sill has kids liquid medicine dispensers on it and maybe an avocado seed bodhi wants to plant. Not so picturesque : )
