Little momma and her tiniest baby
Right around 8:00 each night, Sophie catches her second wind. She starts running around, calls herself a Jumping Monkey, and becomes intensely interested in everything she encounters. Last night after we read several books she spied the tiny plastic baby's hand, just barely poking out from underneath a pile of toys. She jumped off my lap and ran over to unearth the baby. Now, Sophie's always been kind of a little momma, playing with dolls and taking good care of them, like any little momma would. But there is something strangely attractive about this little plastic baby - it's the same one that brought out the mothering instincts in Martin as well, so obviously, it must be pretty special.

She kissed the baby. Gave it high fives on it's pencil tip-sized hand. Worried that maybe she needed some cream because she'd pooped and might be hurt. Then asked to go to the grocery store so that I could buy her a bra. She's growing up fast.

The tickling is PERFECT. It made my day.
