Was blind but now I see
I had laser eye surgery yesterday afternoon and I am slow getting back into the groove of things. My vision seems to be progressing as it should, but it's a bit more difficult to do tasks for long periods of time than I thought it would be. Mostly, things like working on a computer. Sleeping for extended periods of time seems to be going fine.
The kids and I spent a short bit of time outside tonight so I could test out my new non-prescription sunglasses. Everything is coming up in the gardens, the first of the flowers beginning to appear. Each Spring that we've been here the flowers that come up are always a bit of a surprise. I know very little about gardening, but am happy to see the flowers arrive that were planted here years ago by Marty's grandma Harriette.

this is a very cool photo. at first i thought that the artistic blurriness was somehow related to the story about your eyes.
i like the idea of Marty's grandma still being a part of your springs.
