It's hard to say what we've been up to lately that is keeping us so busy, but it seems like I'm just falling a bit behind.  I've had to raise the Laundry Alert Level to

and if I'm not careful that will be upgraded shortly.  My creative thoughts and energy have been busy preparing for a bridal shower for Sevda.  My physical energy has been spent as I've chased Martin and Sophie who are taking turns, sometimes not waiting for the other's turn to be over, begging me to hold them.  And chase them.  And make them stop punching and kicking and practicing for All-Star Wrestling.  Martin's been having trouble listening lately and I've put into effect several new plans which all focus on ways I can talk to him without yelling.  That's pretty much the central focus of my plan.  Which is good, because really... who wants to be THAT mom?

And, for your viewing pleasure, I offer to you further proof that Sophie is a genius and budding artist.  She can play the piano, writes her own lyrics, and shows a penchant for art history.
