Presidential architecture

In honor of President's Day, the kids made another sculptural homage to our great leaders.  You may remember last year's fine replica of President Lincoln's log cabin:


This year, they decided to reproduce the famous Presidential retreat, Camp David:


I don't think they actually set out to emulate this famous place, but dang if it doesn't look just like it.  Just like it, except with a smashed in roof and no swimming pool.  And way tastier.  Martin and Sophie ate all of the windows and much of the roof right before dinner, resulting in a big pile of leftovers from our regular meal.  Although the kids are really too small to understand my lessons on past Presidents, I'm pretty sure they'll always connect President's day with vast amounts of peanut butter.
