One year ago today I started this blog.  At the time I refused to call it a blog, feeling that it placed to much pressure on me and I wasn't sure I wanted to be called a "blogger".  But over the past year, I've really enjoyed blogging or writing or whatever you want to call it.  It's been a great way to share photos and stories, document our lives (which I've never been particularly good at), and make some friends.  The best part, for me, is that it's forced me to do something (or at least think about something) creative every day.  Considering topics and formulating the entry in my mind has been really good for me, something I didn't anticipate.
