Hot toast deluxe

If this blog were a time capsule, future readers would have no choice but to believe that "hot toast" must be something very important indeed.  It seems to be a topic here quite frequently.  For as often as it's a topic on this site it's something we talk about at least ten times as often at our house.  But today's discussion on hot toast is for a very good reason - we received a new toaster in the mail.

Sevda sent a package to Martin and Sophie that arrived yesterday.  When we brought the package inside, Martin grabbed his scissors and Sophie ran to get a toy medical clamp to open up the package.

What seemed like a dream not that long ago has become a reality - introducing the pop art toaster.

In the three hours we've been awake since the toaster arrived, we've already toasted up half a loaf of bread.  We're going to have to run to the store today just to get another one, despite the fact that we were there twice yesterday.

Long live hot toast.
