Today we held the monthly Nelson ladies auxiliary meeting, held this month at Salut.  This was the first meeting I was able to attend, and I'm glad I didn't miss the food at this one.  If you have the chance to go to Salut (located on 50th & France where Ampersand used to be), the food is delicious and the restaurant is very cute.

This month we were joined by Nicole (Marty's cousin's wife and also Sophie's godmother), Louise (Marty's aunt), MaryLou (my mother-in-law and this month's special guest), Chris (my sister-in-law), and Mary (Marty's aunt).

Topics at this month's meeting:
- Who is dating who and how it is going (for those that are single)
- New jewelry - who has it and where did they get it
- Rumor that there is a Dunn Bros. opening up in Hutchinson sometime this fall (that's the best news, EVER)
- Preliminary discussions regarding Christmas

I'm in charge of next month's location and activity plan.  So far, each month's meeting has consisted of lunch and shopping, so I'll have to decide if I should stick with proven success or mix it up in September.  If you have any fun ideas, please send them my way.
