Longhorns abound

About a week ago, I showed Martin how to make "longhorns" out of his fingers.  At first, he found it kind of difficult and needed some help in getting his fingers to move in the right direction then stay there.  Tonight at dinner, Martin shot me his longhorns from across the room (because you know he wasn't just sitting down and eating).  I sent my longhorns right back, then heard Sophie making lightning sounds from her chair.  I looked over and here's what I saw:

Longhorns directed at her french fry - with no training or coaching.  She's a natural.  That's a second-born for you, teaching herself how to do stuff because you're too busy chasing down the first-born.  I'm hoping that kind of thinking extends to using the toilet.  By the time Martin finally gets around to it, Sophie will probably have moved herself out of diapers with no help from me at all.
