New bicycle, or I caved
Last summer, Martin started asking us for a bike. I kept telling him that he's too small and when he's four he'll probably be big enough for a bike. This logic held up pretty well until last week when Martin's friend Jordan pedaled by our house. I had no idea that they made bikes that were so small. Since then, everyday has started and ended with discussions about bikes. So, of course, I caved.

We spent much of yesterday in the driveway testing out the new bike. We had a few crashes, he needed a few boosts, and lots of reminders to "push forward, not backward". I bet by the end of the weekend he'll be an old pro. Then I'll have to figure out some way to put a safety gate at the end of the driveway to keep him from racing into the street.

VERY cool. I can read Sophie's mind, that will be MINE someday...
