Treasure hunt
Today marks the beginning of the city-wide garage sale weekend. This morning, we spent a little time driving around looking for good garage sales. It turns out that Martin is a fine garage sale spotter. He can spot a good one from about 1/2 block away, and knows which ones look boring (i.e. no toys). I gave Martin $4 to spend on whatever treasures looked good to him. Here's what he found:

A little like his dad, he tried to bargain on the price of the helicopter, and didn't want to spend all his money on the first day. He said that he wanted to save his last dollar "for groceries". Sophie and I didn't find anything today, so we'll head back out tomorrow and hope to find a stockpile of good books and Scrabble games.
We also made a quick stop at Form-A-Feed where they've started construction on a new plant. Tomorrow if it's nice out, we'll head back and let the kids crawl around on the equipment.

On the table tonight: Tacos, it's Cinco de Mayo amigo
Currently changing: Diapers, and they're stinko de mayo
