On this day, or No score and four years ago

Today Marty and I are celebrating four blissful and busy years of marriage.

We spent our first anniversary in Scottsdale.  For our third anniversary, we were in Chicago.  This year, we're going to spend the day together in Stewart... working.  So, in honor of the anniversary of our very special day, I think that re-enactments are in order.  Not like renewing our vows or anything, but something more along these lines:

1) I will wear my wedding dress to work.  Sevda, Carrie, Meghan and Megan - please wear your bridesmaid dresses as well today.  It will fulfill the "you can wear it again" prophecy.

2) Geordie will come out to Stewart and whip me around the dance floor at Cactus Jack's.

3) I will place 1,000 bobby pins in my hair then invite Marty's cousin Tron over to use an entire can of hairspray to ensure every hair stays in place.

4) I will not drink one drop of liquid all day so that I won't have to try to fit in a bathroom stall with my giant dress.

5) It will snow.  All day.

6) Every time it is my turn to speak, I will start bawling and be rendered speechless.

7) I will look around all day for Marty, then send his brother Mike to find him for me.

8) I will make hundreds of paper flower placecard holders so that I can tell people where to sit.  Like at their own desks or maybe just mix things up in the lunchroom.

Marty, if we were in politics we'd have just finished our first term.  So to you I say, FOUR MORE YEARS.  I love you, I can't imagine my life without you. Happy anniversary.
