Short order cook
Martin loves to pretend he's cooking. He often wears a chef's hat and apron, takes out lots of dishes, then goes into his tent to prepare the food. Most days, the special is roast beef with soy milk. When he does this I've taken to singing this verse from a Bonnie Raitt song:
Let me tell you 'bout a friend of mine
He's a short order cook
Long on speed, short on spice
He reads his customers like a book
He's seen this, and he's done that
Now he's makin' fried eggs an art
Martin shortens it up to say "I'm a cooker".
Yesterday, I captured some of "The Cooker's" work in a short video. Please let me know if you have any trouble opening it. It might be kind of tiny (screen size), we'll have to experiment with this to find the format that I can do that works best for each of you.

3. Watch at the very end - you can tell he wants to push Sophie, but instead shoots lightning at her with his fingers and makes a Italian cursing noise.

Yeah, it was pretty tiny. When I see Nelsons on streaming video I want it to be HUGE! Thanks for pointing out the thing at the end where he shoots Sophie with lightning...I would have missed that. It's a subtle plot point, but it really adds to the storyline. Five stars (for both the cooking and the film)!

That was SO funny. The hat and apron are awesome...and I noticed he used his all purpose gloves! What a good boy to not push his sister, but to curse her in a less threatening way! No problem sseing the video.

How is Sophie feeling? See, if Martin's hexing worked I have a few people I would like to try it on. Of course, I sincerely hope she is fine, but, you know, you have to use what you can.

So far, so good. But, I did see her splashing around in the toilet earlier tonight as I was trying to get them both in the tub. If she started getting sick now, it would be hard to say whether it was the hex or the effects of toilet water.
